The Bridge Access Grande Project in the new Indonesian capital (IKN, Kalimantan)** was a digital infrastructure initiative commissioned by Buana Enjiniring Konsultan.
Our role as BIM Modelers and Structure Engineering was to translate the bridge’s analytical design outputs into a highly detailed constructible BIM model, ensuring that all structural components — piers, girders, abutments, bearings, and deck slabs — were modeled with engineering precision for design coordination and construction documentation.
The process began with importing analytical geometry from SAP and ETABS, followed by 3D modeling in Autodesk Revit based on structural calculation data. We developed parametric Revit families for repetitive components to standardize details and accelerate revisions. The team also conducted interdisciplinary coordination sessions to align civil, geotechnical, and structural inputs, reducing drawing inconsistencies and improving workflow between design consultants.

Bridge Access Grande serves as a strong example of digital transformation in civil infrastructure. By leveraging BIM for bridge engineering, our team helped improve accuracy, enhance collaboration, and reduce construction risk for one of IKN’s key access points.
